Second graders participate in three great integrative reading activities. Students jump in the corresponding space following the directions. There are three different reading, jumping exercises pictured here. The first exercise corresponds to the cross with numbers on the board. The second exercise is like chinese jump rope, without the rope. The lines on the floor correspond to the lines on the board. The dots are foot placement. Again the students read across the directions jumping in the corresponding space. The third exercise is the same as the first. However the cross is now an X and the spaces are lettered instead of numbered.
Love this! I will be sure to share! Thank you 🙂
